AI research and security governance, in one career.
Assistant Professor at Kozminski University. Head of Data
Governance & Compliance at Wyden. Twenty years spent moving ideas
from a paper into systems that survive an audit.
Speech-based screening for dementia and depression, spiking neural
networks and liquid state machines, eye tracking and human–computer
interaction. Published in Frontiers in Neuroinformatics and Frontiers
in Psychology.
My doctorate, defended summa cum laude at the
Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in 2023, built a
reproducible simulation pipeline for liquid state machines, with
computing time granted by the Hasso-Plattner-Institut in Potsdam.
Governance for systems under audit
Twenty years in IT, fourteen of them leading teams, and a deliberate
move from systems development into cybersecurity. At Wyden:
certification programmes across ISO, ISAE and GDPR, policy governance
and internal compliance. At Sportradar: security assessments and
regulatory and client audits, with teams in Warsaw, Vienna, Bratislava
and London. At Aviva: vulnerability management and penetration testing
across the Group Platforms estate. ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Lead
Implementer, certified by BSI.
Head of Data Governance & Compliance at Wyden, the global leader
in institutional digital-asset trading technology, where data
protection runs under two regimes at once: Data Protection Advisor
(DPA) under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, and
Data Protection Officer (DPO) for the Polish entity under the
GDPR. Previously
Head of Security Advisory at Sportradar, CISO at Technicus and IT
Security Manager for Aviva's Group Platforms.
Now
Head of Data Governance and Compliance, Wyden AG
Strengthening the information security management framework and
overseeing ISO, ISAE and GDPR certification as the digital-asset
technology business scales. Data Protection Advisor (DPA) under the
revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and Data
Protection Officer (DPO) for the Polish entity under the
GDPR.
Assistant Professor, Kozminski University
Institute of Computer Science, and the Department of Management
in Networked and Digital Societies (MiNDS). Teaching within the
Management & Artificial Intelligence programme, and contributing
to the new Computer Science engineering curriculum.
Founder and Principal Investigator,
WarsawIQA Warsaw research community working on information technology,
artificial intelligence, security and human–computer
interaction.
